The Gravely line of mowers was
established in 1916 by Benjamin Franklin Gravely. Gravely was a man of inventive and creative genius with a vision to produce
a tractor which would revolutionize gardening and lawn maintenance. Together, with engineering partner Eustance Rose, they
created Gravely Tractors. Gravely has grown to become one of the most
respected names in commercial lawn and garden equipment. In 1982, Gravely became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ariens Company,
headquartered in Brillon, Wis. The complete line of Gravely professional walk-behind, zero-turn and out-front mowers are sold
through a network of independent dealers.
