Champion Brands LLC further warrants its products to be free of defective materials, design and workmanship. THIS WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING LIMITATIONS AND GENERAL DISCLAIMER: 1. This warranty only applies to Champion Brands’ lubricants for which Champion does not offer a separate, specific warranty. 2. The warranty herein applies only to Champion lubricants that are packaged by Champion and sold by Champion or an authorized Dealer. 3. The liability of Champion Brands LLC shall be limited to: a. Replacement of the defective lubricant. b. The cost, including labor and materials, to repair, or at the option of Champion Brands to replace damaged components lubricated by Champion products according to Champion recommendations. 4. In no case shall Champion Brands LLC be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages including, but not limited to, damage or loss of other property or equipment, loss of profits or revenue, cost of capital, business interruption, lodging, towing or cost of replacement equipment. The liability of Champion Brands LLC arising out of the manufacture, sale, delivery, installation, technical directions or recommendation of any lubricant – whether in contract, tort, Warranty or otherwise – shall not exceed the value of the equipment in which the product(s) were used. The remedies to the purchaser herein are EXCLUSIVE. 5. In the event of a claim against Champion Brands, LLC the procedure below must be completely followed: a. Where the original warranty for the equipment manufacturer is still in effect, the customer shall file a warranty claim with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in accordance with the OEM warranty procedures. b. Customer shall retain failed parts for inspection by Champion Brands LLC unless given to the OEM. c. Customer shall also, within 30 days of failure, notify Champion Brands and provide the following: (a) An eight (8) ounce representative oil sample taken from the failed equipment and put into a clean, dry container. (b) Documentation including make, model and year of equipment, total accumulated miles and/or hours and duty cycle or service environment. (c) Equipment or vehicle maintenance history documentation including miles or hours at the time of Champion lubricant installation, general equipment repairs and oil analysis results if available. (d) Proof of purchase for Champion lubricant. d. Mail the above sample and information to: Champion Brands LLC, Attn: Technical Services, 1001 Golden Drive, Clinton, MO. 64735 e. In cases where the OEM warranty is still in effect and that coverage is denied based on the use of a Champion Brands lubricant, the customer shall immediately notify Champion Brands LLC and provide a written copy of the OEM warranty denial. f. Champion Brands LLC may, at its option, notify its insurance carrier of the claim. g. Champion Brands LLC or its insurance carrier may conduct an investigation that includes, but is not limited to, an inspection of the failed parts, a review of the operating conditions and a thorough review of the information requested above. The customer agrees to cooperate with such investigation. h. If Champion Brands LLC or its insurance carrier pays a claim, an attempt may be made to recover amounts paid from the OEM. If this occurs, the customer may be asked to provide further information pertaining to the failure and to cooperate with Champion Brands LLC or its insurer in the recovery process

Subject to the limitations set forth below, Chapin warrants to the original product purchaser only, that the purchased product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product. It does not extend to any subsequent owner or transferee of the product, or any lessees of the product.

This limited warranty does not cover any damage or defect due to or resulting from transportation, storage, improper use, failure to follow product instructions, failure to perform recommended preventative maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, or external causes such as accidents, abuse, misuse, alteration or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.

Except for the express limited warranty set forth in this document, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use or purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so this limitation may not apply to you

With respect to a defect in the product arising during the warranty period and which we are notified of in writing within thirty (30) days of the expiration of the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product or defective part free of charge, or refund the purchase price of such product. Please note this warranty does not cover shipping and handling expenses to return a defective, repaired, or replacement product. Do not return the product without first receiving written authorization from us. We reserve the right to reject any warranty claim which we have not received written notice of within thirty (30) days of the expiration of the warranty period.

To obtain warranty service you must, during or not later than thirty (30) days after the expiration of the warranty period, call us at 1-800-950-4458 in each case with a description of the product and defect. You must also provide us with a sales receipt or comparable proof of purchase showing the original date of purchase by you.

The remedies described above are your sole and exclusive remedies. Our entire liability for any breach of this limited warranty shall under no circumstances exceed the actual amount paid by you for the defective product. In addition, under no circumstances shall Chapin be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or punitive damages or for any losses or lost profits, whether direct or indirect and whether or not we were informed of the possibility of such.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Corona will repair any tool that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship, for the lifetime of the tool. In the event repair is not possible, Corona will either replace your tool with a new tool of similar construction and price, or refund the full purchase price of your tool, when you return it to us postage paid.

This warranty does not cover damage due to rust, abuse, mishandling, unauthorized repair or normal wear on blades, hooks or other components. Changes in design, finish, material specifications, etc. can be made without notice and implying any obligation on or recourse against Corona.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Coverage (effective June, 1 2001) Ignition Coils: The ignition coil for all models is warranted for the life of the machine to the original purchased, except for rental use which is 3 months. Labor cost will not be covered after the initial warranty period and will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. Drive Shafts: The drive shaft for all trimmers and brushcutters (excluding models 8270 TR, 8271 TR, 8245 SE, PT/PTX 2500, and PT/PTX 2700) is warranted for the life of the machine to the original purchaser, except for rental use which is 3 months. Labor cost will not be covered after the initial warranty period and will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. Parts, Accecssories, and Attachments Warranty Coverage The over the counter replacement part warranty period is 90 days. parts replaced under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. Accessories such as, but not limited to, bars, chains, sprockets, trimmerheads, and blades are subject to normal wear and tear and are not warranted unless failure is due to a defect in material or workmanship within 90 days from the original product purchase date. Attachment (i.e. pruner, hedgetrimmer, mist blower) warranty period is 90 days. Warranty repairs and replacements will be made without charge for parts only. Anything replaced under warranty becomes the property of Karya brothers Networks Inc. All parts replaced under warranty shall be considered part of the original product. Any warranty on such parts shall expire coincident with the original product warranty.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY:

All pumps or products must be flushed of any chemical, (ref OSHA section 0910.1200 (d)(e)(f)(g)(h)) and hazardous chemicals must be labeled before being transported. You must take the product, accessory, replacement part, or the power equipment on which the accessory or replacement part is installed, and proof of purchase, at your expense, to a Yamakoyo retailer in the United States who is authorize to sell that product, during normal business hours. EXCLUSION:

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO PARTS EFFECTED OR DAMAGED BY ACCIDENT AND/OR COLLISION, NORMAL WEAR, FUEL CONTAMINATION, USE IN AN APPLICATION FOR WHICH THE PRODUCT WAS NOT DESIGNED OR ANY OTHER MISUSE, NEGLECT, THE USE OF UNSUITABLE ATTACHMENTS OR PARTS, UNAUTHORIZED ALTERATION, OR ANY CAUSES OTHER THAN DEFECTS IN MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP OF THE PRODUCT. THE USE OF A YAMAKOYO ENGINE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RACING OR COMPETITION WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY.

KARYA BROTHERS NETWORKS INC DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OF TIME OR USE OF THE PRODUCT, TRANSPORTATION, COMMERCIAL LOSS, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. These rights may vary from state to state.
